Visible-light-driven responsive Au/RGO/H-TNTs are prepared by successive EPD.

Au/RGO/H-TNTs show highest photocurrent density of 224 μA/cm2 based on TNTs.

Au/RGO/H-TNTs show higher PEC performance than H-TNTs and RGO/H-TNTs.

RGO act as a superb mediator for transferring electrons from Au to H-TNTs.
