Link between air pollution and childhood asthma children in a Chinese city were studied . Short-term exposure to PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NO2, and CO can trigger asthma in children. NO2 showed the strongest effect on asthmatic children, whereas O3 had no effect. No significant difference was seen except for PM2.5 and CO by age and NO2 by season.
