A new indicator to estimate the efficiency in industries is provided. The indicator includes water and energy consumption concerns. Results are allocated in a scale within 7 levels of efficiency. Results are compared with reference values of the industrial sub-sector. The evaluation focusses on agribusiness. An application example is presented.
