Tomato seedling responses to blue and red photon flux (PF) are presented. Tomato responses are comparable under treatments containing both blue and red photons. LED light containing 30B:70R and 50B:50R photon flux have greater dry mass and growing efficacy than fluorescent lamps. For the production of tomato seedlings in vertical farms 30B:70R and 50B:50R photon flux light qualities are recommended.
