Co3O4/NiCo2O4 double-shelled nanocages were prepared via a metal-organic framework route. The strategy includes the synthesis of ZIF-67/Ni-Co hydroxide and Co3O4/NiCo2O4 DSNCs. The Co3O4/NiCo2O4 DSNCs shows excellent sensing performance to acetone.
