Straw incorporation greatly impacts environmental distribution of POP pesticides. Receiving-retention-release route of POP pesticide was developed in endosulfan case. The straw incorporation may cause unacceptable environmental risk of POP pesticides. Available release scenarios of POP pesticides were complemented by this study.
