Cell-penetrating peptides were applied to develop bacterial vector vaccine.

Several CPPs (TAT, etc.) showed efficient capacity to translocate EGFP into J774 A.1.

A novel bacterial vector vaccine BL21/pUTa-E + pET28a-FT was established.

The vaccine candidate presented ideal immune protection in zebrafish (RPS = 63%).

The humoral and cellular immune responses were both activated by this vector vaccine.
