US pre-treatment followed by UV-C LED for E. coli disinfection was investigated. US pretreatment improved the UV-C LED disinfection efficiency. US pretreatment reduced the number of photo-reactivated E. coli in the disinfection effluent. Kinetics models of inactivation and photo-reactivation have been established.
