The numerically simulated trajectory of the 1:80 scaled gravity anchor consistents with the experimental measurement. The new hollow gravity anchor has smaller anchoring time and deviation than those of the traditional solid anchor. Developed anew six-DOF motion-based zonal mesh update (MBZMU) strategy to control the mesh quality.
