Activated MAPKs show nuclear localization in apical region of en embryo. Activated MAPKs localize in cytoplasm in the apical domain of cortex cells. MAPKs take part in auxin transport from basal to apical region of an embryo. Epigenetic modifications limit nuclear localization of activated MAPKs in radicle.
