Nuclear localization of the juvenile hormone receptor Met in Drosophila larvae requires Nup358 and Hsp83. Importin β levels decrease in Nup358 RNAi larvae. Overexpression of the TPR domain of Nup358 that interacts with Hsp83 compromises Met nuclear import and JH signaling.
