Obvious regional variation in nitenpyram susceptibility was found among the field populations of N. lugens in China. Nitenpyram resistance has occurred in field populations of N. lugens in China. Cytochrome P450 monooxygenase is likely a contributing factor to nitenpyram resistance in field populations of N. lugens.
