SNP-LAMP method was developed for detection of specific mutation associated with drug resistant malaria. Detection of N51I mutation in the Pfdhfr-ts was demonstrated using specially designed SNP-LAMP primer set. Simple protocol for preparation of parasite sample was developed for SNP-LAMP method.
