Physico-chemical properties of various cap rocks were examined by different techniques. Adsorption capacity were determined by Langmuir and BET isotherm equations. CO2 adsorption on clay, evaporates and sandstone has been compared. CO2 adsorption by cap rocks is mainly related to physical adsorption.
