Presented is an ultrasonic circular motor holding and rotating an object through a layer of air without contact. Producing traveling waves whose direction is controlled in closed-loop. Utilizing the traveling waves for angular positioning of a levitated object. Introduced a spatial transformation transforming the multi-actuator system into a single parameter.
