Sensitive determination of kaempferol using carbon dots as a fluorescence probe

A novel sensitive and convenient method for determination of kaempferol based on the fluorescence quenching of fluorescent carbon dots (C-dots) was developed.

The determination of kaempferol has a detection limit of 38.4 nM.

The C-dots exhibit excellent sensitivity and selectivity to kaempferol.

The method has satisfactory results for the determination of kaempferol in real samples.
