New dataset allow more precise estimates of demand for E85. Estimate empirical model of demand for E85 in two metropolitan areas. Demand for E85 is projected to US metropolitan areas. E85 cons. would be 1 billion gal. if discounted by 20% on a cost/mile basis. Increase demand for ethanol from new E85 stations depends on strategic location.
