We present the primary and tridimensional structure of Canavalia virosa seed lectin (ConV). We evaluated the edematogenic effect of ConV in rat paw edema model. The cytotoxic effect of ConV to rat C6 glioma cells was tested. The lectin was submitted to molecular docking with dimannosides to evaluate its affinity.
