A ubiquitous hydrothermal episode recorded in the sheet-crack cements of a Marinoan cap dolostone of South China: Implication for the origin of the extremely 13C-depleted calcite cement
Sheet-crack quartz cements record a widespread hydrothermal event during glacial eustatic transgression. Hydrothermal fluid with high salinity mainly came from deep basin brine. Sheet-crack structure cementation was result from successive hydrothermal activity.
