TGF-β inhibition has no effect on the proliferation of CD34+ cells and Erys from PMF.
In contrast, TGF-β inhibition increases proliferation of CD34+ cells and Erys from AB.
TGF-β inhibition increases proliferation of CD34+ cells, but not of Erys, from CB.
TGF-β inhibition increases proliferation of Erys, but not of CD34+ cells, from PV.
Therefore, TGF-β inhibition may reactivate normal over malignant hematopoiesis in PMF.
