C20 clusters interact strongly with silicene, germanene and stanene. Interaction between C20's and graphene, BN and MoS2 are all weak. Buckling of 2D material determines the reactivity of a 2D substrate. Substantial charge transfers happen between C20 and silicene, germanene and stanene.
