Novel spirofluorene/indole/carbazole-based hole transport materials with high triplet energy for efficient green phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes

Three novel host materials based on spirofluorene/indole/carbazole derivatives were developed. Compound C3 exhibits a high glass transition temperature of 165 °C and high triplet energy level of 3.204 eV. Green PhOLED with C3 as host exhibits the best performance (ηc,max = 45.2 cd/A and ηp,max = 23.2 lm/W).
