Conduction mechanisms in SnO2 single-nanowire gas sensors: An impedance spectroscopy study

Single and multiple SnO2 NWs gas sensors were studied with impedance spectroscopy. The resistance from the Pt-NW contact changes with atmosphere and temperature. For the multiple-NW sensors, the resistance mainly came from the NW–NW junction. Equivalent circuit modeling was used to draw conclusions about the conduction mechanisms.
