A hollow fiber membrane module was characterized in membrane distillation. A process model to describe the membrane flux was developed. Membrane-assisted Crystallization based on optimized process conditions was performed successfully. Membrane distillation is applicable in membrane-assisted crystallization to avoid evaporaton.
