A simple, sensitive and selective electrochemical folate receptor (FR) biosensor in cancer cells has been proposed.
The biosensor combines immobilization-free and the terminal protection of small molecule linked DNA.
The proposed biosensor can detect FR with wide linear range (10 fM to 10 nM) and low detection limit (3.8 fM) were achieved.
The developed biosensor has been applied to detect FR in HeLa cancer cells with the wide linear range (100–10000 cell/mL) and low detection limit (50 cell/mL).
