CAD/CAE integration is enhanced by using the subdivision approach. The ES-FEM method is employed to improve accuracy of triangular meshes. IC-based reanalysis is integrated with GA to carry out geometry based optimization at low computational cost. The proposed approach is successfully used in three test problems.
