Novel Fe75Cr5(PBC)20 BMGs were synthesized without high-purity materials. The best GFA was pinpointed at Fe75Cr5P9B4C7 with a critical diameter of 2 mm. The BMG exhibits good magnetic properties with Ms of 1.03 T and Hc of 2.3 A m−1. The BMG shows high σf of 3.19 GPa, Hv of 8.39 GPa and good corrosion resistance. This low-cost BMG is expected to benefit the potential industrial applications.
