Solution treatment affects the interdendritic networks of aluminides differently depending on the alloy composition. Two different damage accumulation processes are identified by synchrotron tomography for the studied cast AlCuMn alloys. These damage accumulation processes rely on the interconnectivity of the aluminides network and aluminides volume fraction.
