Magnetic AC loss of Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2/ Ag tape in perpendicular field is reported for the first time. The measurement on magnetic AC losses and Jc in a monofilament Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2/Ag (Sr-122 in the family of iron-based superconductor) tape are performed as a function of magnetic fields up to field amplitude ∼7 T, the two field directions (applied perpendicular and parallel to the surface of the sample plane), and different temperature (20 K - 30 K). The study is concentrated on the research of magnetic AC losses and Jc in perpendicular field.
