Composition of Ca, Mg coatings found to be: rutile, anatase, calcium and magnesium carbonates. Ratio of (Mg + Ca)/P 0.8–1.28. Magnesium containing coatings consisted mainly of Mg(CO3)2. Elemental analysis confirmed the presence of silver and silicon in the coatings. Thicknesses of the Mg, Si, Ag coatings containing additives 13–32 μm, 40 μm and 18 μm respectively
