Ni47.74Mn37.06In15.20 alloy with homogeneous composition was prepared.
A maximum positive magnetic entropy change ΔSm of 30.7 J/kg K was obtained at ~282 K at 50,000 Oe.
A large negative magnetic entropy change ΔSm of −6.45 J/kg K was obtained at ~294 K at 50,000 Oe.
The giant inverse and conventional MCEs occur in a wide temperature range ΔT 267.5–297.5 K.
