Differences in loam water retention and shrinkage behavior: Effects of various types and concentrations of salt ions
详细信息    查看全文
文摘
Combination of soil shrinkage and dehydration. K+, Na+, Ca2+ and Mg2+, and HCO3− and CO32−always drop and raise water retention. Mg2+ always raises crack length and area; other salt ions always reduce them. K2CO3 is a useful additive for increasing water retention and decreasing cracks. Van-Genuchten model is valid for fitting water retention curves of soils saturated with salt solutions.
