Steam jet condensation in crossflow of water in a vertical pipe is studied visually. Five condensation regimes are described in a condensation regime diagram. Scaled steam mass flux is irrelevant to the transitional lines in the regime map. A correlation for prediction of jet centerline trajectory equations is proposed. A correlation for prediction of jet penetration length equations is proposed.
