Determination of amlodipine (AML) using bare/unmodified and DNA-modified graphite screen-printed electrodes (SPE) was explored.
Although, bare SPE shows enhanced voltammetric oxidation peak of AML, the immobilization of DNA increases the sensitivity about 10-times higher than bare SPE.
The detection limit was found to be 20.70 nM and 14.94 nM for unmodified and DNA-modified SPE.
The unmodified SPE was for determination of AML in tablet and urine samples.
