Correct estimation of total field induced entropy change from Maxwell relation is discussed. We compare results after using two different measurement procedures. Unidirectional measurement of isothermal magnetization curves proves to be fundamental. Magnetic entropy change overestimation can be avoided by using proper measurement procedure.
