Simultaneous adsorption of Sr2+ and ReO4− on HDPy–modified Mt was studied. Considerable adsorption capacities of Sr2+ and ReO4− were obtained on HDPy/Mt–0.92. Desorption–adsorption is responsible for uptake of Sr2+ and ReO4− on HDPy/Mt. Simultaneous adsorption of Sr2+ and ReO4− on HDPy/Mt is a synergistic process.
