A novel sludge disintegration method using a hydrocyclone is proposed. Hydrocyclone disintegration leads to the release of carbon source. Achieved disintegration led by hydrocyclone shedding, rotation and centrifugation. Lower energy consumption by hydrocyclone than the other disintegration methods.
