Solvent-assisted microstructural evolution and enhanced performance of porous ZnO films for plastic dye-sensitized solar cells

ZnO films have been fabricated on plastic substrates. Whole the fabrication is conducted at temperatures below 120 °C. Microstructure of the films is modified by immersion in water– ethanol solvents. Short-circuit current density shows a remarkable increase after immersion. A power conversion efficiency of 4.1% is achieved.
