Higher order beam intensity fluctuations are found in strong oceanic turbulence. Modified Rytov method with modified turbulence spectrum is employed. Expression relating atmospheric structure constant to oceanic parameters is used. It is found that higher order laser beams of large mode numbers are advantageous.
