This study examined the influence of childbirth on parents' attachment orientations. This is a three-wave longitudinal research program using a MLM framework and the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model. Parents' attachment orientations are highly stable. Mothers and fathers follow the same developmental trajectory and function in dyad.
