New acetylacetonate bis(secondary amine) palladium (II) complexes were synthesized. XRD/IR/NMR/DFT studies shows hydrogen bonding between the amine ligands and [BF4]–. Presence of pseudocrystalline structure in solution of complexes were assumed. Complexes are active in the telomerization of 1,3-butadiene with diethylamine. Complexes are active in the polymerization of norbornene, dimerization of styrene.
