Chitosan interacts with phospholipids membranes altering organization of bilayers. SAXS identified 3D cubic architectures built by biodegradable polymer and lipids. The construction of specific cubic phases is delimited by chitosan concentration. A biologic acceptable compartmentalized hydrogel of defined topology is produced.
