Development of an affinity cryogel for one step purification of lysozyme from chicken egg white

Polyacrylamide cryogel was synthetized by radical cryocopolymerization technique. Cryogel was activated with Tris for affinity adsorption of lysozyme from egg white. HETP was determined as a function of viscosity and flow velocity of mobile phase. Adsorption isotherms were determined at two different temperatures. Purification of LYZ was studied at different flow velocities and dilution rate of EW.
