Development of HPLC-ELSD method for determination of maltodextrin in raw milk

Maltodextrin is used to mask raw milk fraud by water addition.

An analytical method is needed to control this adulteration.

HPLC-ELSD method was developed and validated for maltodextrin in raw milk.

Validation results exhibited that this method was accurate and selective.

All validation parameters were adequate for analyses of maltodextrin by HPLC-ELSD.
