Startup mechanism and thermal performance of a CLPHP is reported.
Influence of pure fluids, water-based binary fluids and surfactant solutions are investigated.
Startup heat flux is observed lower for acetone and higher for water compared to all other working fluids.
Thermal resistance is observed to decrease with increase in heat input irrespective of working fluids.
CLPHP is observed to perform better with acetone, water-acetone, water-45 PPM and water-60 PPM surfactant solutions.
