BVDV-1f present mainly in Northern Italy, with strong geographical correlation Westward migration from Veneto to Piedmont and Aosta Valley The Bayesian skyline plot reports a quite constant trend in the number of infections. Molecular epidemiology identified Piedmont as source of infection in Aosta Valley. Survey to veterinarians revealed connections between farms.
