Pirimicarb resistance mechanism in selected strain of Aphis. craccivora was studied. Cross resistance pattern in against other 7 insecticides was examined. Two different mechanisms of resistance were found; Ace2 gene overexpression and higher activity of esterases. Resistance management program is proposed to delay/mitigate the evolution of pirimicarb resistance.
