A dual sized droplet morphology induced by silica nanoparticles (SNPs) in PDLC. SNPs modify the effective environment during the polymerization of PDLC composites. The relative transmission increases but switching contrast decreases with SNPs doping. Lower threshold voltage in SNP-PDLC composites due to an increase in the average LC droplet size.
