Dietary phenols may have beneficial roles on immuno-inflammatory diseases like SLE. We evaluate the effects of two phenol supplemented diets on a SLE mice model. Dietary phenols reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines and renal damage on lupus mice. HTy and HTy-Ac supplementation may constitute a new dietary strategy on SLE management.
