Ultrasound treated potato peel and sweet lime pomace based biopolymer film development

Potato peel and sweet lime pomace were utilized for developing biopolymer film. Ultrasound treatment was successful for lowering the particle size of materials. The increasing ultrasound treatment time resulted in acceptable film properties. Film added with clove essential oil has lowered surface microbial load of bread. The film was successful in reducing the weight loss and hardness of bread sample.
